Our Khutba for Kids program intends to nurture Islamic character among students.
The 36 topics above represent the key topics which are covered in the Noor Kids Character Building Program.
Amin G. Aaser is a Master Storyteller, serving as Executive Director and Author of Noor Kids. He is an expert on identity, self-confidence, and self-esteem among Muslim children in America.
He has been featured on NPR, BBC, and Huffington Post, among a host of other media outlets. Amin developed his expertise in storytelling under the tutelage of Arina Isaacson, an internationally recognized, and award winning, theater director actress, master storyteller and visual artist.
Br. Amin served as a Masters-level Instructor of Storytelling at UC Berkeley. He began his career in management, working for Fortune 500 companies such as 3M, Target Corporation, and General Mills, before making a career change to serve Muslim children through Noor Kids.
He attained Master's degree from UC Berkeley and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota.
I have multiple children. Do I need to register each one? No, you only need to register once for your entire family.
When will the events be held? Events will be held Thursday's at 6:30pm CST. Check to see what time that is in your time-zone here.
Is this a Jumah Khutba? No. This is simply an educational session for young Muslims. Further, based on the timing, it will on Thurday evenings.
What if I can't make it to an event? If you can't make it to an event, the videos will be available for replay.
What topics will you cover during the events? We'll be addressing topics in the following curriculum.
